I hope UNC wins but Pitt scores a ton. I really want Canada as OC.

Side Note: can't wait to see Brandon Harris in that Fedora offense this season

what this iteration of Canada's offense is basically a Pro Style version of a Spread Option offense. With a Dual Thread you'd see the Power Spread concepts. Inside Zone, Inside Trap, Counter, and then the Jet Sweeps branching off of those base plays

Does Canada's offense resemble any NFL team's?

His post was clever. Yours was just pointless sarcasm for the sake of it.

The one glaring hole in Canada's offense was the inability to sustain a drive late.

Should have won though. You score 36. You should win.

The closest would be Hue Jackson's system with the multiple pre snap shifts. Cincinnati as well

Canada's O does not come close to resembling a NFL offense. It is very similar to auburns with less qb run options. The key is the qb making the right pre and post snap decisions . I think Etling will do well in this offense, but we will not be throwing the ball all over the field. Lots of short throws to backs and te's.

Just let us know how many jet sweeps are called. I hope the powers that be realize that's not gonna work in the SEC

All I'll say about this is you get 3 plays to make 10 yards. If 1 play is used to force linebackers to take a step to the outside so the next play up the middle gets you 10, that play did it's job. Not every single play has to be a touchdown. Every play has to have a purpose. Even if 9 out of every 10 jet sweeps gets tackled for 3 yrd gain, it can help open the inside of the field. With 11 defenders it's hard to cover the entire field.

People have begged for this for what seems like 10 years, maybe we get what we ask for.

This is the difference between Canada and Miles offense. Before, our negative or minimal yard plays served no purpose. Canada's plays will all be a precursor to the next play. So even negative or minimal plays can be advantageous to the next play.

Ive been watching a good bit of Pitt games from 2016 and a few NC State games from 2015. Ive noticed that receivers really don't get as much love in this offense like people think. A lot of repititve jet sweeps and single back counter runs off of jet sweep playaction.
