Question on the delay...

Did anyone know about the delay ahead of time?
Based on the official times, the team bus and the band were coming down the hill way behind schedule, and it felt like fans heading to the game had zero clue a delay was coming
I caught the announcement for the 90-minute delay, but I'm wondering if the broadcast had that information earlier to tip off viewers. Essentially, was there any way to know in advance not to rush into the stadium?
FWIW sound system seemed much improved over the game I attended last year

We didn't know until we got to our seats. It would have been nice if they at least texted something out to season ticket holders.

I got into the stadium around 4:30. There was no indication going in that there was any issue.
Once inside, the video boards and scoreboards all said "LIGHTNING DELAY. PLEASE SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. " (But they weren't stopping anyone from going into the stands.) This was before the storm hit.
At about 5:40, the PA announced the game would be delayed (which everybody kind of figured by that point.)
