Interesting. The wording I remember was "falling into his lap" or something similar.
No one at Ohio State gave Orgeron a snowball's chance in hell of landing Burrow.

People were certain he'd go to anywhere but LSU. No offense, but it was thought to be a joke that he was on a visit to BR. Orgeron pulled a rabbit out of a hat with that signing. People were stunned.

Turned out great, IMO.

I was a bit surprised he had interest in LSU.

I don't think anyone but Orgeron believed there was any serious chance, until after the meetings in BR.

Well that's an outright lie, but typical of you to not accept a compliment of mine towards the coach at face value.

You can just admit being wrong and be done with it.

I'm not.

Interesting you now give Orgeron credit for landing Burrow after all this time.

I'm going through some of your Burrow posts

Turns out Burrow isn't any better than Etling, a Miles guy.

I don't think he's on anyone's radar as a legitimate NFL QB.

I gave the compliment when it happened.

Since you're checking out my Burrow posts, go back to the day we landed him and see what I said.

As it stands today Walterfootball ranks him as the 12th best QB prospect for the 2020 NFL draft.

Show me any documentation that has a markedly better evaluation of him right now.

The truth isn't always nice brother. In any event, I respect his abilities as a college QB, and that's all we need him for.

Nah go for it. If you thought you had a chance in hell of finding anything you'd still be looking.

Typical bitch-made answer from you. You lack any real conviction to just give a straight answer like a man.

Are we still tearing down other coaches to try and make O look better?

*looks up*

Yup

Might not want to jump to conclusions yet, with that winning record against O and all.

This is retarded. Why would anyone have to make a case for the current coach? He's already proven that he's capable of doing the job. That ship sailed already. That's one that the negatives lost already.

What job exactly has he proven that he's capable of doing?

He was hired to re-elevate the program back to competing annually for conference and national titles.... Immediately.
