Question about using another student's ID

I am originally from Florida and I have friends coming in for the LSU UF game scheduled for this saturday. I already have the student tickets but I just need 1 more ID from a girl who is afraid she will get in trouble... What are the actual consequences for getting caught? I thought it was something like they could not attend the rest of the football games or something. Which doesnt matter because this girl didnt even buy season tickets...

I used a friend's ID and ticket for every home game last year because he had a broken leg and he looks nothing like me. They didn't even take a second look at it so she should be fine.

or you could just upgrade it to a guest ticket for $20 and not worry about an ID

I had a friend try. The ID was taken, the person he borrowed it from got in trouble and he had to run off to keep from getting in trouble.
As you go in through the line try to find the person that doesn't care and isn't looking at them.

See I would normally upgrade it but for some reason LSU isnt allowing upgrades for the Auburn or UF game.

Do you want to sit together or are these guys cheap and not pay the full price?
If you want to sit together, you can upgrade the student ticket to a regular ticket and not use someone else' ID.
If they are cheap ..

Because it's a good game. Actual students should be the ones in the seats. We don't care if your girlfriend, cousin, frick-buddy or whoever isn't a student or was too dense not to get student tickets if they are indeed a student.

I wouldn't bet on this. I've had a few friends get unlucky in regards to this.
at least get the same gender, race, and hair color

they pretty much handle it on a case by case basis. I don't think it's anything serious they may just make you write a defense or something like that. maybe volunteer at an event. the only time I've ever heard of them checking is if the ID doesn't work for some reason.
just get in line when it is really crowded and they won't be checking IDs. all they really worry about is getting people through.

both the people look similar to the IDs... I think it will be fine, we have greek section seats and both the people coming from florida are in greek life so they shouldn't stick out too much

Something we tried a couple times and worked is to wait til about 40 min before kickoff when theres so many ppl trying to get in that the gate holders dont have time to check facial features and names on the id. They have to scan them quickly in order to keep the lines moving.

have her go get another id made this week under the idea her wallet was stolen. If your Fla friend gets caught, they will simply call the other girl into the office. If she maintains the story it was stolen and shows the other id already in her possession, they will do nothing...this "happened" to me my freshman year

If you get caught allowing someone to use your ID card, it's a referral to the Dean of Students. They just make you write a paper or go to a class or something, but it is listed as a referral on your record. So, if you're applying to professional school or other applications that ask if you have a referral to the Dean of Students, you would have to say "yes". I see them all the time even for letting someone use your card to get in the UREC.

If caught, they won't let you in, and whoever loaned out the ID will lose their tickets for the season. I've had this happen to friends.
But I've done this countless times, as have friends of mine. The odds of them actually pulling you out of line are like 1 in 1,000. It's very low risk, but if you get caught, whoever provided the ID will be fricked.
