We didn't blast extra-base hits all over the park, but it was a solid game. Child (OSU SP) seemed like he made us hit a lot of ground balls. Several of them found holes. It would be nice to see some more power from the lineup, but still a solid game last night.... Also, it was very nice to see Goody come in and dominate hitters.

Even though I think Gausman deserved to be player of the game, Nola deserved it as much. He was excellent in the field, as usual, but had that big triple that really put the game away. All in all, the team performed very well last night against a good team. If Rhymes and Katz get back to where they were earlier in the season, watch out for the Tigers!!!

Florida 6 runs 9 hits FSU 8 runs 9 hits UNC 4 runs 8 hits USC had 5 runs 12 hits in 12 innings Oregon 7 runs 10 hits (ps osu swept them)
Especially considering their starting pitcher last night is one of the better in the country, according to the telecasters

Exactly! Sometimes I think the posters on here have never seen another team play this season. Hitting is down across the board.
