you have to wonder what coach was thinking. Herring was tremendous for 2 innings. his pitching could best be described as wicked. you could see that he lost his stuff when his pitch count got to 50.

I guess coach wanted him to pitch thru that adversity and wanted them to win in adversity. if we can clearly see it he did too but he had his reasons and it worked out.
