Here to say the man went about this the right way. Just last year would tell you that. No asking him about it after the game, no pool boy sources, no rumor mill tweets/reports, no attitude, he just kept it on the down low and DID HIS JOB. What a difference a year makes in that situation. Didn't hear a thing about it UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. Post game news conferences, celebrations, etc. Guy might have got 70 hung on him in a bowl game, but it wasn't last night against the #2 offense in the nation. You gotta do what's best for you and your family in life, but also there IS a way to go about things, and he did it with class and put LSU first. Good luck coach Steele (except when we play you )

I see where you're going with this, but I'm not congratulating a coach leaving the program.

Good point. Alabama and Saban have really struggled against us as of late.

This Steele praise is fricking pathetic. He was terrible and should not be praised for beating an overmatched team on his way out. I would say Miles should be praised after his eye-opening experience a few weeks ago. Maybe he actually prepared the team with some passion for a change.

Who said Miles took over the D? I said the team was prepared to play obviously.

This thread is really gay dude, keep sucking a guy's dick that was a terrible coach and bolted after a year though.

it appears that there are actual experts that disagree with you. imo, he wasn't pathetic and he handled himself very well with this situation; much better than that last son of a bitch we had. and, Steeles defenses WERE BETTER THAN CHAVIS' last 3 years D's. sure, the stats, esp scoring D would disagree but Steele's D's had an adjustment to make and it affected that stat. But, he held leads and the D improved substantially as the year went on. Chavis feasted on his stats against the weak teams.

Not on his jock dipshit. Just said he had to do what's best for him and his family and did it THE RIGHT WAY. sometimes in life you have to make a move for more money and job security asshat. Something you wouldn't know about.

And next time please remember I want fries with the fukin burger.

You have no details on how it went down, none of us do. You have no idea how Steele handled his LSU responsibilities or not.
