The team looked well coached and prepared last night. You have to give credit where credit is due.
I agree completely. The team looked great last night. Very well coached. My comment wasn't meant to be a dig at Orgeron, only at Space Cowboy who has been going on and on for months about how Ole Miss unjustly fired Orgeron.
I meant no disrespect to Coach O, his staff or his team. They had a great first game.

Yeah well that's just stupid to think O fired unjustly at Ole Miss.

Miles would have loved for his offense to look this crisp in any opener. Stayed vanilla and run heavy, but consistently moved the ball down the field, mostly taking two downs to get a first, and third downs were almost always 3rd and short.
He got it sometimes; other times he didn't. Sometimes he was seeking the wrong thing, and it wasn't good enough.
The question is will it evolve and adjust from here. I'm so hopeful, I'm assuming it will.

Why even try dude....even with a dominating win you just won't give O any credit....
Unless you know about your BFF space cowboys multiple posts whining about Orgeron losing his job at Ole Miss all those years ago, you wouldn't understand what my post meant to space cowboy.
And I've already given Coach O, his staff and his team credit for their performance last night. So I suggest you stop worrying about me giving O any credit for last nights game.

Yes it is stupid. Try telling that to space cowboy. But if you do, be prepared to be called names and to read the novels he posts about O's tenure at Ole Miss.

In short I like the trajectory and love the foundation. In the Les era I would have expected them to be just as satisfied and this would now be the template forever and ever.
With this staff I'm expecting the opposite. This isn't success, this is the starting point to success... that is the feeling I have with this staff.
As a huge Miles supporter, I would argue the first part of your thought is pretty simplistic and just a rantard myth, but at this point why bother? I'm focused on this new staff and excited to see where this team can go.
I completely agree with the second part of your thought. Canada can really be the difference we've all wanted to see for so long. Need to see him do this week in and week out through the SEC, but man I pumped for his potential.

It's going to be a very sad day when Aranda and Canada move on. Hopefully it is after much success!!

2013 against TCU and a Gary Patterson D in Dallas says hello. I'd say that was more impressive imo.
