If you criticize bad performance you also must praise a great performance.
Earlier I, like many others, bashed JJ's peformance and the appearance of sulking.
The young man played very well yesterday and deserves all the praise he is receiving today. He hung tough and delivered a clutch performance. Tigers fans can only hope that the light bulb has come on for him and he will continue to play at this level.

Haven't been seeing the drive charts the last 4 games. They were pretty popular when they favored JL.

Multiple times during this game the fate of the game rested on Jefferson's shoulders. And each time he delivered. We were told that when the D struggles LSU will lose, that the idea of the offense carrying the team to a victory was impossible for this LSU team.
Not so fast my friends.
I think in some ways Jefferson's performance in this game was better than the Bama game. He didn't have the D to rely on as much. The Tigers needed him and he delivered.
Hell of a job.

it isn't really an issue when the better QB is playing and the offense if performing.

don't forget this was against the 97th ranked pass defense in the nation and 107th ranked overall.

Well Bait, there are still some debating as to who the best QB is.
But you're right, it really doesn't matter. I think most folks can see the big picture now.
Bottom line, neither is an all star and neither ever will be. But JJ will sit back there and take a lick and deliver the ball.
And all the thinly-veiled "cerebral" advantage references do not account for that, and that is a pretty big advantage in favor of JJ.

Throwing the ball very well. WRs are wide open also, not sure if that's play design, route running, or both. We have a pulse Noe.

7 times in the RED ZONE and 7 scores (4TD and 3FG).
Congrats to a great game by JJ.
