Now that we step out of SEC play for day and take on texas, how do you think the tigers approach this game. Will the continue on the 7 game streak or do they relax a bit as winning conference games out-ways anything.

It's one final chance to notch the good OOC win away from home they failed to get vs. VCU, USC, Utah St. Wade knows how important those wins are, so I can't imagine he will let his team lie down for this one.
The matchup favors LSU. Texas isn't a particularly good offensive team and they are susceptible to getting killed on the glass (one of LSU's biggest strengths). The worry is that LSU's poor defense has let more than a few weak offensive teams have good days, so there is always a fighting chance for the opponent...particularly one playing at home and who is going to take a lot of 3's.
It's not hyperbole to say that Smart is coaching for his job. And that may be even more accurate considering they are coming off a ~40 point loss in their last game. Time is running out for them and Smart. If they are going to rally this season, it probably has to start tomorrow. So I expect them to come out fired up. If not, then they have quit on Smart and he is already at the end of his tenure.
For whatever reason, while LSU has been outstanding on the road in SEC play, they struggle away from home in non-conf. play. Still, regardless of what happens in the first 38 minutes I expect this will be a 1-2 possession game in the final 2:00.

we win a close one with Skylar Mays doing a spin-move layup in the last couple seconds....

What conference will provide the officials?
If officiated fairly, LSU......otherwise its a tossup.

Gut feeling is they lose this one. They’ve been pulling too many games out of their arse lately.
