Now, we can see what he does without those players, and it isn't much really.

I think we have the talent, executing is the problem. JaMarcus looked horrible his 1st two years and played great his Junior year. I was hoping this was the same for JJ, but it doesnt look like its gonna happen. Maybe JL matured enough to play big, until he throws his 1st pick-6 then we'll know we are screwed....Damn you Zach Lee!

What has changed in Crowton since they set the school record for scoring in '07? If Flynn really was that big of a difference, then couldn't you say it's the player, not the coach?

In 2007 with the exception of a few wrinkles like the pistol package, that offense was Jimbo Fisher's offense.

I remember reading about 40 articles saying it wouldn't be fair to Flynn who was coached for 4 years in Fisher's system to switch to Crowton's system since the language was completely different.

That's it? Because you read some articles? So seniors don't have to deal with new playbooks? So you think Jimbo just left his playbook with Crowton? I don't buy that shite since Flynn seems to be picking up Green Bay's much thicker play book ok. That doesn't add up.

I thought the Defense did very well.

Understatement. The D kicked arse.

Vandy had 135 yards on offense and the majority of that came on 1 play.

Agree.

good words. I agree. Lee may or may not be better, but we need a change.

We have the most talented receiving corps in the country - and we had 112 yards receiving last night - against Vandy. Again, it's time for a change.

He worked for LSU; it was LSU’s playbook. I could care less if you believe me or not, but nevertheless that was Fisher’s offense in 2007. Crowton didn’t install his offense until 2008.

I think the play book Jimbo left is the same one he is using at Florida State with less results.

This.

We ran out of the power "i" formation all the time in 2007. We also used the running game to set up the passing game via play action.

Crowton's offense does neither of these.
