Poor judgment and foresight by Brian Kelly

Nuss is obviously injured to the point he can’t be effective and had no business being on the field this past Saturday. Whose call was it to trot him out there anyways? At the end of the day, that would be our $100 million dollar head coach’s decision. If you have your mind made up that no matter what condition Nuss is in, he’s playing against OM, then why not rest him against Southeastern? Not only has CBK failed to develop players and assemble a competent coaching staff, he lacks simple foresight and has terrible judgment. When I watched the 2nd half of the OM game and the camera panned to CBK with his hat tilted down and towards the side, I saw a guy that looked like he was realizing that he’s in WAY over his head

I’m beginning to think at this point that Kelly feels pressured/obligated to have to play Nuss regardless because the amount of money he was paid to come back. And if that has anything to do with it then this really sucks because he’s just going to blow the entire season all because “oh we can’t sit a QB we paid $4 million to on the bench!”

The only thing I can think of is to continue giving the offense more real game reps as a unit. But I don’t get it either.

I’m a BK supporter but if he’s playing Nuss because of $$$ he deserves to be on his way out.

bingo!
nuss actually shoulda sat out last 2 games. we shoulda played VB all SELA and had him ready for OM. VB mayhave given us a better chance at winning because he can runa nd throw downfield. we at least woulda had a punchers chance. with nuss we have no shot. this woulda given nuss 4 weeks of rest.
kelly sabotaged the whole season playing a hurt NUSS last 2 games.
