Damn can't remember specifics of the game, but were not Highsmith and Beckwith both playing in that game.

I think one was injured and Cutrera started.

You're right and I think it was Derry who was out, but I don't know how anyone can base anything on that game when Mcfadden and Jones ran over and around everyone on the field. I just think he is good enough to start and if he screws up I'm sure Chavis will have his arse on the bench. I mean the man (Chavis) has coached his share of all conference line backers, I think he can determine who will start.

Steltz had two bad misses on long runs, including Hillis', and Highsmith got beat by Hillis for a TD, then of course McCray totally botched the 4th down coverage.

I've never understood some people's need to take satisfaction in a kid getting demoted or not getting playing time. It's one thing to state you think someone else should start ahead of him but you don't need to phrase it at the expense of someone else. He's still on the team and might actually be able, or need to, contribute at some point in time. He's a kid living a dream and playing a game he loves, probably for a school he loves.

Just my two cents......

Agreed, most of these guys are band members who could never take a rough game like football so enjoy watching guys fail whichin their minds is satisfying.

I can't believe people are still hanging on to the 07 Arky game. Cutrera didn't start, he was in on a series when he got sucked in and Hillis broke a long run for a TD.

Dorsey was playing hurt (meaning he was not double-teamed, thus not eating up blockers), and they had 3 NFL RB's. Chad Jones, Craig Steltz, Darry Beckwith, and Luke Sanders all had embarressing moments in that game.

As far as him starting, all I can say is he was just as effective as Beckwith last year. If a new coach comes in and determines he's a starter, then I'd have to think he was the best option. He's a Senior, so hopefully he'll pull an Eric Alexander and shine.

I'll never forget the play against Auburn last season where Cutrera missed a tackle twice on the same play.

But it does seem as though you forgot everyone else who missed tackles on that play...and you also forgot it was Cutrera who got up (twice) and ran down and made the tackle down the field.
