Try this experiment:

Ask any Alabama fan what's going to happen if they lose on January 9, 2012.

They, and I mean everyone of them--cannot mentally go there. They are scared out of their feeble minds of this scenario.

The bottom line is that uou cannot play afraid to lose and win.

That is why they will lose.

I think it plays into the mental game, if all their fanbase is telling them their entitled and they start losing the pressure will mount. They will know how bad its going to get when they get home with a loss and begin to press.

Of couse that could work both ways, but Miles seems to put less importance on winning and preaches just have fun and play vicious.

In the end it would have been better for Bama to play in the Sugarbowl and let someone else take the hit on 1/9/12.

This will certainly hurt some egos in Bama
