Tolan>Penn

Penn has been one of the worst linebackers for us in a long time. He has no speed and can't tackle to save his life

Allen/Welch > Sage

Sage has been a bust. He hasn't made a single play in any game since arriving on campus

Saivion > Gaye

Gaye has been starting for 3 seasons and still can't set the fricking edge.

Howard > Daniels

When McElroy shared the chart of Daniels QBR over the season anyone can objectively see its been a roller coaster. He can't throw over the middle or deep passes to save his life. He is what he is.

With the whole Oline set to return next season and will have veterans it's now time to give Howard a chance.

Any of these players still starting after this weekend makes zero sense as we aren't playing for anything other than needed reps that they are currently occupying and wasting.

Penn has made some good plays in spots but I have to agree he takes awful angles A LOT and also gets washed out of plays at times. Also agree on Sage which this board is going crazy on why House didn't stack the box more this is the reason why. He's terrible in coverage and even though the WRs made great plays last night he was sliding help to him because he knew they'd zero in on him. When they got single man with Sage they targeted him. Now you know why LSU is recruiting Safeties so hard. They'll be losing 3, Davis isn't there anymore, and Sage is a bust. They absolutely better get 2 good starters in the portal because they're deep shite at S next year. CB depends on how far along Welch is. Converse injury was a big reason defense played like shite. He and Garner have been great on the outside this season. Would've allowed us to stack the box all night making the QB beat us.

Both BJ and Gaye can't set the edge and is a big reason they gashed in the run game.

Team and these players had chance to make playoffs and they mailed it in

So I'd say they already set the tone for postseason

The coaches won us at least 3 games. It was bandaid job and we are playing for a SEC championship. To your point I think the coaches are at practice everyday and know who to start and who not to. Fans always have play the back up syndrome.

Howard over daniels….
Y’all guys crack me up.
I see why most people laugh at our fanbase. Y’all have no clue about football. I go to a game. And literally 1 out of 10 people around me know the game. It’s sad sad.

In general or right now? I’d put money on Howard having a far more successful overall career

Daniels isn't going to win you a championship.

I see why most people laugh at fans like you

I can see all but the Daniels one. You want to start a true freshman qb who hasn’t done anything all year. Based on what. What he did in high school. How do you have any clue if he is any better then what we have. He may be next year. He may be in 2 years. But you have zero basis on that one. Hell he could have been the backup last night and still save his redshirt, but he is still behind nuss.
For all of Jayden’s warts, he does things for this team that has put them in the sec championship game.

Maybe you should stop by the football offices and give them that information since you know so much more about football and what is going on over there. I’m sure your extensive football knowledge will impress them and Brian may offer you the Asst Head Coach position.
