Actually if that were the norm that'd be awesome.

from the article:

quote:

''A lot of people don't get his style of coaching, his style of pretty much just simply talking,'' Shepard said. ''But coach Miles, he's a great dude, man. One thing people don't realize is, he's a great leader.''

anybody catch that?

his style is a lot of talking? because I caught that. Lots of talk.

great.

Huge Reason why we beat Bama in '07 and the reason we beat Auburn on the last play of the game.

like i said before its not like there is a gun to sheppards head making him say these positive things. But it really is easy to come on here and say Les sucks (I say he does too) but do any of us actually and honestly think we could do any better?? I know I couldnt. I could call time outs and spike the ball when need be but to disect film, prepare a team mentally and physically, recruit, and hire some of the best in the game i dont know how good any of us would be at these aspects. I've learned to hate Les but some of you truly give him no credit where some is due ( i know it is hard considering his flaws)

Is that what I wrote? Young men have not fullyvdeveloped their prefrontal lobe like older men have. Thus more dicky behavior in general than older men. Same reason you see 20 y/o storming beach heads and not 35 year olds not.

sure, if you could prove i wasn't being truthful, that'd be great.

thanks in advance.

I like the man. I don't like the coach.

If you want to know about a horse, just check his record in the Daily Racing Form.Same thing goes with a coach. Just check GC's track record and you would predict exactly what is happening to the offense.Miles has to address the Crowton and JJ problem before the Florida game and not afterwards.Miles is the leader and a leader takes action. He can not just wait and hope everything works out.

you wrote that right? its right above.

When RS actually said "his style is simply talking"

you said RS said "a lot of talking" correct?

seems untruthful to me but whatever

I like les. I was for him until Sat. I would love for him to have a sound team. I'm cool with 10-2 and being in all games, playing for a NC every 5-7 years.

He's a great recruiter. He loves his family. That matters to me.

And frankly, I really don't care about this that much. But I would like to see a group that appears to know what they are doing.

And yes he knows far more than I do about football.

After reading that article, one thing is clear. This team is willing to do whatever it takes for Coach Miles. I am as pissed as the next guy about what happened this past week, but if this team decides to use the fanbase as a motivation, and fight for the coach, this team could be dangerous....

For what its worth I was thinking the exact same thing. Hope we are right

I'm glad to hear this. I hope the players aren't just saying that. I would like to see everyone rally behind him for as long as he's still here.

I'm as disgusted as anyone with the dysfunction of the offense for the last year and a half but, Les is our coach for how ever long he has left. Let's just make the best of it. Everyone needs to support the team right now.

You really think every player wants to get into defending Miles to every idiot that asks them what they really think of Miles? You think they don't know a loaded question when they hear one?

The entitlement of some people is hilarious.
