Thanks for proving even further that you're a narrow-minded idiot.

Do you think everyone respects every aspect of LSU's running game outside of the power?

Thats what we run, power run game. We line up and say can you stop us.most of the time it's a resounding no.thats why lsu has put so many rbs on nfl rosters that last few years. Most of the time high powered offenses DONT win the sec title or the bcs title. I do agree we should play to our strengths more and not get cute.and yes it's frustrating seeing us run into 9-10 man front, but those runs are what softens those d lines for the forth quarter.

I didn't read this whole thread. All I'll say is that football is a game of attrition. You go in with the best gameplan you can come up with. If it isn't working you make adjustments. We did. Luckily for us we made the right adjustments and won. Wisconsin wasn't a pushover.

There's a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully we continue to grow and get better.

So the two teams that played last Saturday had a #5.5 class average and a #43 class average. Yet it took till the last minute of the game for LSU to come out on top.

Wisky is full of juniors and seniors(grown men) while lsu sports one of the youngest teams in America. Experience can close the talent gap.also stars are a PROTECTION OF TALENT.not law

We won on a thrilling and courageous comeback after making major adjustments in the 2nd half with our Soph. QB making his 2nd career start against a top-15 team, but you're not happy because it wasn't "pretty" enough. You're fricking clueless, man.

Who looked better on defense LSU or A&M? After Wisky 3rd qrt td, the last 27 minutes of game play , lsu allowed 26 yards of offense.

way too many 3rd and mediums early in the game to get anything going. and one of our answers was a zone read play w/ jennings in the first qtr, thankfully he did a great job and made the right read.

i do think, obviously, we had to be more aggressive in the 2nd half, and were, and we saw the results. hopefully the coaches can use these next two games to enhance the playbook, the calls and the players make the plays.

i didn't have a problem with them coming out conservative and you have to expect it at this point especially with a guy starting his first reg season game against a good opponent. i wish we'd have executed a bit better early and opened it up earlier, but they got it done in the end.

the series that led to the fake punt was just awful. and i fricking hate when we push the tempo only to run the power toss play 3 straight times. jennings has the tools to be utilized better going forward and i hope les and cam make it happen.

The coaches adjusted well and we won our first game against great competition. What more do you want? Sometimes I think the way things went is the way they wanted it to go. Give them a false sense of security and let them go into halftime thinking that they are doing great and they don't need to make any adjustments and then bam!! Change the whole gameplan up and leave their coaching staff scratching their heads. I would've liked to see those adjustments way earlier but Miles can be a tricky man to figure out. He wins though.

To the people that call the shots at LSU, this is all that matters.he wins while sporting the 2nd highest grad rate in the sec.

Narrow-minded?

Lets compare Les Miles biggest weaknesses; Arkansas and Ole Miss.

Alabama beat Arkansas 52-0 and Ole Miss 25-0.

LSU had to comeback in the 4th to beat Arkansas 31-27, and lost to Ole Miss 27-24.

Yet Alabama on the field is one of the few teams that has the talent we have.

You go from using the unbelievably subjective recruiting star system, to using the transitive property. Yes. You are a narrow-minded idiot.

So. Who played better in the opening week A & M or LSU????? I don't care who won what or not..... With the so-called talent LSU has, WHY can't they have an offense like A & M..??????

So? Not sure what the point is. What does Bama have to do with anything? Aren't they the ones that lost to Allbarn? Didn't LSU beat Allbarn? So why single out just Ark. and Ole miss? Didn't Bama lose to ULM and Utah? Not sure what you are trying to achieve by bringing in a whole bunch of other teams into a conversation when discussing play calling.
