I assume the answers in this thread will be the same for the week of the BCSCG? I will be in Austin that week.

Went to Lavaca street, not that many people, but it was still a pretty good LSU crowd for being in Austin. Drink prices were high ($17.50 for a bucket of Beer, as compared to $8 in NOLA)

But it was a cool place, nice bartenders. No complaints other than we were supposed to get a Jello shot each TD, and we only got two Jello shots.

And She gave us Austin Amber instead of Abita Amber one time; and that is a really bad beer. But I enjoyed the place and will go to again. The rapid growth of this city is crazy. Where did 130 come from? And Mopac is like an interstate now.. My Hometown of Round Rock is hug now...

Didn't get to meet any TD posters IRL, or maybe I did.

never is for the Arky game - at the end of it, almost everyone is out of town for the holidays. For most games, it's standing room only

Watched the game @ Third Base in Round Rock where apparently Arkansas has their viewing party for Alumnus.

What a game to watch with those folks. Up 14-0 they were playing trumpets and yelling for every play. Then LSU hit em in the mouth and I about came unglued. Throwing shite at us but overall being pretty humble (how could they not after that throat stomping)

At the end of the game they had an SEC chant going . Pussies

Yeah it was embarrassing. The three LSU fans I was with just stared at them yelling LSU LSU LSU and they shut up pretty quick.

I could tell they expected a lot based on chairs.

I liked the place

"Guy in gold pants"

No, I was the guy sitting in the back, kinda quiet wearing the Honey Badger shirt, with my Bro wearing a LSU Basketball shirt.

The blond waitress gave us the Austin Amber, my brother sent it back, I decided to drink it as a slow down drink.

You may have been the guy I talked to who said "Its never that crowded for the Arkansas game; everyone was out of town for Thanksgiving". I didn't really talk to anyone, got drunk. Walked around 6th street and then went back to my Grandparent farm in Hutto.

I thought it was a cool place, will go to again. I'd like to move back to the area one day. I will always really like Austin. I miss Barton Springs all the time.
