I thought we hired this Pitching Coach that was the best. This staff has regressed.

Was thinking the same thing, the other day we were looking at some of the guys from last year. They haven’t made great improvements, Riley, Dutton.
Whatever it is this series is over maybe we can regroup when we get home and make some adjustments.

Edwards has certainly not regressed. Floyd is having a better year compared to last year so far. Not his fault these pitchers cannot throw strikes.

Yea now I’m even wondering what the heck is going on. I mean Wes is supposed to be the best there is and LSUs pitching continues to look like complete arse outside of one pitcher on a yearly basis. How does LSU always find the pitchers that have zero control and nothing much other than a fastball?

Yep, Maneri's philosophy hurt pitcher's. Could not keep them healthy. LSU had had problems with pitcher's throwing strikes for years. It continues.

I am very surprised how little affect our new pitching coach has had on this staff.

Hurd, Little, Shores, Herring, Moffett, Collins were all highly recruited guys who were drafted out of high school.
