Size isn’t the problem. Our 5’8 guy Bregs and theirs Madrigal have plenty of power and can swing it with the best of them. It’s a talent problem.

LSU can hand pick their players from almost anywhere in the gulf south, an area loaded with talent. How is it possible that we are in a situation where we are running out of arms for post season? We should be as deep as anyone in the country as far as pitching is concerned.

It’s like 4 of LSU’s top 6 arms are hurt right now.

That doesn’t excuse our piss poor hitting and fielding recruitment.

I’m amazed that every other team in the country can recruit athletic as frick 6’2 215 lbs short stops, left fielders, right fielders, etc. that can run, hit, and play the game.

Clearly we recruit small guys to play small ball.. which is cool, however, that doesn’t work if the players you have can’t execute small ball type plays.
Frodo Mainieri (Leader of the Rainbow Shoe Hobbits) is just plagiarizing the Les Miles "Square Peg-Round Hole" Quarterback script.

Complacency has set in folks. Every HC has a time limit for his particular school and then it's time to move on. It's now that time for LSU Baseball.

Time for a complete program purge. (AD, AD Admins, football and baseball)

playing for a national title last season isn’t a sign complacency has set in. This team has been snake bit all year by injuries. It happens sometimes but you can’t fire one of the best coaches in the country due to one subpar year.

Our so called Ace lasted 3 innings. Their ace obviously didn’t have his best stuff and last 7 innings. IMO this proves how shitty our approach at the plate is. We can’t bunt or move runners when needed. We need a new hitting coach and recruit more quality arms.

My 62 year old mom who hardly knows anything about baseball says we need an actual hitting coach. I told her it's currently a former player without much coaching experience, and she said "there's one of the problems".
