I just watched it over for the twentieth time, and that's the first time I realized it. CBS had a view from the south endzone and DP slips through the line and is free in the endzone with nobody within six yards of him, calling for the ball with his hands waiving in the air while JJ is chasing the ball on the ground. If we handle the snap, it's an easy six!

He was only open because the whole defense saw JJ mishandle the snap and went for the ball!

Was it Peterson? I take your word for it...I thought I had seen either Shepard or Toliver (one of the guys with a zero) on the right side wide open. Either way, Tennessee's 13 people didn't have everyone covered.

nobody covered BECAUSE the snap went 10 yards past the QB

That's because all 213 Tennessee defenders were running after the bad snap.

He wouldn't normally be that open.

He was mostly free because at that point everyone on defense was chasing the ball due to the botched snap
