his 1st here at LSU, i broke my arm and just had surgery (I was 15 so i was just young enough to be in the children's hospital! him and the players came and saw me in the hospital!) i was actually supposed to go to the game vs chattanooga the day before my surgery and when i told him and the team that, they said they won the game for me! one of the best moments of my life! got a shirt (that i still have), a signed ball, and a bunch of other good stuff! he may not have been the best coach but him and his players were pure class

That's unfortunately why we keep LSU coaches around too long.

Cool story and I'm sure it was a great moment in your life.
I'd be willing to bet that 100% of coaches at LSU would have done something very similar to that though (maybe just not to your room specifically). He may have been a wonderful guy, and I'm glad you have a good memory of him and his team but it was past time for him to go.
Unfourtuanetly we probably won't be good agaib until Alleva is gone and we get someone who has the ability to hire good coaches.

Well shite, why you saying something now?!?!? If you would have told that story yesterday, Alleva probably would have kept him.
