Hopefully he won't try to buy Manhattan with counterfeit wampum.

Y'all are blaming a 20 year old amateur for acting like everyone expected him to act and leaving blameless the million dollar professional coach who had all his eggs in that basket.

Either way, 2008 was a long time ago, and it doesn't really matter who is to blame for it now. Miles and LSU have recovered, and it appears that RP has too.

The quarterback situation has recovered? I don't believe JLee has ever recovered from that season.

Next year when Mett takes over everything has moved on. When the 2 quarterbacks playing are the same ones who were impacted by being forced into playing that year RP's actions still have an effect.

No, but your Rantard account should probably be revoked.

So every time we recruit a player, it's actually that player's responsibility to either play here for 4 to 5 years or ensure that there are upperclassmen at his position in case he gets kicked off the team?

It's absurd to blame RP for JLee/JJ not progressing to your liking or Miles not being able to deal with losing one player 4 seasons ago (to be clear, I'm not the one saying that Miles hasn't dealt with it).

I have to admit, I was unawre he was getting a chance in the NFL, but I am not stunned. He has the physical tools and he made some good plays...big plays at the SEC level in his short time at LSU. I hope the man grew up and won't waste his God given talent that most of us could only dream of.
