Perception is Reality

This might be my first sunshine pumping post in ever. But I think in the long run the future looks bright for LSU football. Last night we were out coached and out played by superior players. If Green hadn’t gone out we win this game.
Out QB play is concerning. On one hand Leavitt is a baller on his feet. Yet on the other he makes really poor throws to receivers who either can’t catch or are not in position. Basically they are not in sync.
Our defense looked just like last year and a mobile QB is the Achilles heel for our DC.
But even through all that, I feel like adults are in charge of the program and we will be fine … eventually. This isn’t a top 4 playoff team and Ole Miss might be the real deal. People crapping on Pete but never forget Coach O wasn’t a mental genius and he gave us 2019.
Am I pissed about the loss? You bet your sweet arse I am. But I’m going to drink the sunshine pumping kool-aid this morning and say we’ll be alright … in the long run.
This next game is a must win so let’s stop dwelling on it because the team I might hate more than Bama comes to town Saturday and if there was a team that needed a Louisiana arse whoopin’ it’s those weird fricks from College Station.
This sunshine pumping crap tastes terrible but incredibly necessary right now. We looked like a bubble team last night and that perception might be reality. But we also looked like a team coached by a professional who knows what they are doing. That too might be reality. Stay classy Tiger fans and forever GTHOM!
