has Bo Pelini done? At all?

His D and held UT to 101 yards TOTAL with Colt McCoy at QB. Texas played BAMA about as good as you could with a second string Qb that hadn't played all year.
That 2009 D was about as good as I ever saw. As far as 2007, we were VERY good until the dorsey injury. We also lost Charles Alexander early that season and were still very dominating.

Who cares about 2009. As LSU fans we should already know, he did that with someone else's players.

And the 2007 defense wasn't "very dominating". We gave up a ton. Gave up 50 twice. That were very TALENTED...loaded in fact. But no...not dominating. I guarantee you 2007 defense with 2009 OR 2010 offense, and LSU loses far more games those two years.

Better yet...2007 offense with 2010 defense, and we're probably 14-0.

wouldn't be a surprise here. New OC, QB play still very mediocre

lol what. You are saying you won't be surprised if we do worse on offense with a new OC. HOW IN THE HELL WOULD WE DO ANY WORSE THAN LAST YEAR WITH OFFENSE AND QB :rotflmao:

Texas got ran over and abused by the Bama offense. Did you watch the game?

Nebraska 2009 had Suh.. that alone will make a defense dominant. It's incredibly easy to be an elite defense when you have one of the best DTs to ever play the game.

2007 LSU defense was good.. but not great. They were without a doubt clutch.. but Arkansas and Kentucky shredded us.

I think that goes without saying. Heck, give me 2005 offense and we'd go 14-0.

- yeah I know we held AU to 24 points, but it certainly could have been a 35 point loss.
