Beat Florida State?
Wow so the #3 team did what it was supposed to against a dogshit #22 ACC team. Congrats. So awesome. And it only took 3 OTs too.

We still won right? Southern speed and all that? Isn't Ohio State 0-9 vs the SEC in bowl games? 0 AND 9?!! Don't embarrass yourself anymore.

They're in the south. They are a speed team. That is enough.

It's funny that Penn St is relying on what another conference can do against Ohio St since they can't. You keep on riding those SEC coattails. I'll just be polishing our crystal ball and hanging another Big10 banner

We won last year and in 2005. You won in 06, 07 and this year. Congrats.
I still remember 63-14 in 1994. That's right...remember us putting SIXTY THREE POINTS on tOSU? I sure do.

Good for you. I remember winning as many Big10 titles in the last three years as Penn St has since joining the Big10 too.
But I'm sure what JoePa did before computers were invented, or what your team did in 1994, will really strike fear into LSU.
Penn St - the only fan base more nostalgic than Bama.

You are turning into Michigan and pulling stats out from when they still wore leather helmets and pimping them around like its relevant. What's the series over the last 10 years? Since Tressel took over?

You also won as many national championships in the last three years as we did. Way to represent!

This has nothing to do with LSU. This has everything to do with OSU fans talking out of their asses knowing they are 0-9 all-time vs the SEC in bowls and talking about dominating Penn State when they've won ONE more game in the series.
Quit whining. This game has nothing to do with Ohio State.

I said we had the worst 5 years in our entire history in 2000-2004. Plenty of teams got to fatten up their records vs us when we were down. Since Joe turned it around in 2005 we're 2-3 vs tOSU. If you're going to go back 10 years you might as well go back 100 because it holds just as much meaning (considering as many players from 2001 are currently on the roster as players from 1901.) If you want recent history it's 3-2 Ohio State (just like all-time it's 13-12.)

I'm sorry that you can't handle the truth. I posted three things about why LSU will win. Care to touch those?

3-1 OSU, unless you think the redshirted freshman in 05 were really responsible for the Penn St win.

Here's why LSU can win:
1) Our offensive line has been horrendous in games this year. They are Jekyll and Hyde.
2) Our special teams is even worse than the O line.
3) Clark has never really excelled and put up big numbers in a big game.
Here's what I think we have to do to win:
1) Our running game has to have a good day. Evan Royster has to be great.
2) Clark has to limit his mistakes.
3) Our secondary can't let the LSU WR's run free and get behind us.
4) We need to get pressure on Jefferson and force him to make mistakes.
If LSU can exploit the above weaknesses they will win. If we can do the things I have here we will win. I think it'll be a tough game but we certainly can give them a game.

Don't make excuses. I was at the game in 2005. It was a loss for tOSU.

I would say they were in 2005. Our defense said their players were talking about how we had no chance because of their speed. Oops.

The best thing Penn St has going for them is LSU is on their 18th running back and doesn't have a QB to expose their secondary.

I think Jefferson is playing his best ball right now though...and I worry about our secondary being able to stay with their WR's. I also am hugely worried about our special teams as all phases are horrendous other than punting (but the problem with Boone is he is really slow punting the ball and is prone to a punt block.)
Plenty for both teams to be concerned about and to be confident about in this game.
