I was at the game, and visually, the guy is a machine. He was the best player on the field IMO. He's special, like I have posted several times before on here last year. He could be as good as Landry, definitely better than Webster and Daniels. All-American in my book as a true Sophomore.

He seemed to be the only one who didn't forget how to tackle last night. Thank goodness he was everywhere.

It says a lot about the LSU program that we got this kid to come here given the fact that he is from South Florida and had Miami, FSU and Florida to choose from as well as many other schools.

There weren't many plays on defense where #7 wasn't around.

PP seemed to be EVERYWHERE! He will be the eventual leader of this defense. Size skill and heart....he has it all!

He was definitely one of the highlights on defense last night. Let's hope that the "most improvement happens between the first and second games" adage is true for the rest of the D.

If we keep play D like we have in most of our recent games..... well you know.

We will be fine on D. With guys like him on man coverage, we will learn when we can bring pressure from the corners. I'd like to see some more pressure from the front four so we can get some hurried throws that will allow us to force more INT's. Cutrera played his heart out, he looks faster and stronger. He was swarming the ball well and bailed us out on several plays. On the road, first game, give UW and Locker credit, they are a different team with him. I think early on last season b4 he got hurt, they played really tough....we still won and I love how JJ protects the ball, unlike, ahem, starts with L and ends with ee. Next week we will put it all together. Id love to be 4-0 with my tickets in hand for another road trip to UGA. Seattle, is amazing, but the rain sucks. Awesome trip.

What did you think about Taylor? I know he was beat on the PI, but he did recover and it was not PI. He seemed to make some good tackles and if I remember correctly, shot in to stuff RB behind the line 1 time. Was his playing an adjustment at halftime that helped us stuff the run better? Since you were there, whatcha think?

The ESPN announcers called him an All-American also. This guy has really grabbed the attention of the media. Thanks P.P. for choosing LSU. You made the right choice.

I have feeling if he keeps that kind of play up, he'll be gone after next year.
