I wouldnt have minded as much if it was something worthy of the pose.

The game wasnt in the bag.

It's not like he is Brandon Spikes or any other Florida Thug. BRandon Spikes kicked the ball into the crowd and that was fine with me. Dont throw a pick six.

The difference is that Peterson, isnt gouging eyes out or going for cheap shots... He isnt being arrested for stalking... Or found in a car passed out a week before a big game. He hasnt stolen a laptop.

He is a class act who struck a heisman pose.

What more can PP do, he has now one 2 games for us, in a sport that is about the biggest team sport on the planet...he has done more than enough to be worthy of that celebration...

Exactly, that's one of the great moments in CFB history. These kids have probably seen that picture/clip hundreds of times and idolized it every time.

I have no problem with PP doing it and I can tell you none of his teammates have a problem with it.

ESPN disagrees and says PP is in the mix! They loved the pose. Even made a point to say PP is LSUs O.

Patrick is one of the best in the nation, no arguement but he would not get my vote for Heisman after last night and his stupid, senseless display in the endzone. LSU was on a roll (for once) and he gets this unsportsmanlike, we have to kick off from the 15 and the whole game changed. They got decent field position and we started getting backed up and lost all momentum. I hate show offs in football, its a team game and theirs no place for that shite, act like you've been there before and are going to be there again. Patrick lost, I believe a lot of respect from people with his display. Last thought, its coaching and Miles one year of fame is up, he needs to goooooo!

Do us all a favor and STFU. He's a 20 year old kid. Get over it. The dude is bad arse. He talks shite and backs it up. You don't like that, well suck it.

STFU! PP is the reason we won! Our offense was on NO kind of "roll".

You don't like it? Tuff shiz!

Kong your an idiot. The penalty did not cost us. the drive ended in a punt. If anything cost us it is our lack of a passing game and the coaches not relying on the run when it is obviously working.Patrick is the best thing this team has going for it in individual terms, so if he makes a mistake while you sit on your arse in the stands or in a recliner cut the kid some slack. Geaux Tigers and thank the football gods for Patrick Peterson

Dude, the move was genius and unlike others I don't think it was too early. The Heisman is all about hype and a defensive players needs all he can get. Who do you think all the writers and voters will be talking about this week? I mean come on, look at the heisman list of candidates, it is all QBs and RBs.

I'll even submit a piece of evidence for you:
Peterson for Heisman article, CBS sports

If you don't like college kids having fun do us a favor and quit watching them then.

I guess the athletic department isn't too upset about it, the picture of him posing for the Heisman is on the lsuports.net homepage. His spirit and confidence personify our great defensive and special teams play this year.

He has no shot at winning the Heisman, but his big plays have single handedly won us 2 games this year. If our offense had 1/10th the confidence and swagger as PP, we would have blown WV out last night.

Blaming PP for the close game, GTFO. It was the shitty playcalling that made this one close. I don't care about all the bitching about Lee, if they call the same plays, it won't matter if Breezus is in there. The playcalling is the problem.

bullshite! PP deserved it. The game was close because we can't throw the ball for over 100 yards a game. Bama is going to prison frick us if we play like this against them.

I see no difference in that and all the "you can't see me's" from 2007.

Yes, and with the way our offense is now we won't score a point unless it's on special teams or on defense.
