I agree. Been said this. Damn even Arkansas qb threw for 300 yards. Fool us at least

5/11 sucks. Anyway you put it. I'm hoping the other poster is right that those numbers are off...for whatever reason

According to the coach one of those missed passes was a deep pass (50yds per another poster) for a TD that the WR dropped.

That would make his stats 6/11 136yds 3 TDs and no INTs. Reportedly there were 2 other drops, but I can't confirm. That would be 8/11 (don't know additional yards.

That would give Etling a 12.36 YPA. #1 in the SEC last season was Allen at 8.55 YPA.

It's such a small sample size you really can't make much out of it good or bad.

But, if you want to look at his SEC stats from last season (I would remove total yards because that's more a reflection of offensive philosophy - better to look at efficiency)Etling was:

5th in YPA
8th in completion percentage
7th in QBR
5th in TD/INT ratio

So pretty much middle of the pack. If Etling is healthy, picks up Canada's offense and can move into the top 1/3 of the SEC (all reasonable expectations), you can expect LSU to have a very good season.
