Never made it to college.

I played 4 years of noseguard and 3 tech at Assumption High.

5'9", 220 lb linemen don't go far into college.

Hs for me was

freshman yr qb, Corner. then i started putting on mad weight and the coach put me at WR and Lb through my junior years when i moved to TE and LB. I had a country coach who put me on 4 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches a day plus lifting 3 days a week and running 4. Shot up from 175 to 200 between my sophomore and junior years

Damn! I went from 235 to 225, added muscled, gained speed, and worked to my arse off to start Sr. year. All worth it though. I got tons of respect from teammates and coaches.

Dude...I'm going to coach too.

I'm at LSU working as an equipment manager trainee getting some experience before I get to a high school when I graduate.

God please tell me you won't be a coach... especially after that incredible "breakdown" of Shep you gave the other day.

Number system goes like this.

lined up on:
center-0
between center and guard-1
head up on guard-2
between guard and tackle-3
on tackle-4
outside tackle(only in a 3-3 or 3-4 formations)-5 tech
you pass!

If you really want to get technical, you can start talking about four i techniques and how the gaps what the i gaps and 5 tech's jobs are on hat read assignments. It would trip you out how the o-line man will lead you to the ball about 95% of the time

You know what i learned from this thread? I learned that while our louisiana education system may have taught some of you some things about football, it failed some of you in the spelling category.

it also failed more than one person in knowing the definition of the word 'ignorant'.

Here's how I sum up LA:

F in school

F in health

F in roads

F in economy

A+ in football success

Wrong. A few years ago, the fad was the play a 22 look ( two 2 techs and 2 5s) vs. the spread look, with no tight, it made sense in terms of stopping traps, and such, ive also seen that same look run against the wing t ( aka flex bone for you NCAA 11 fans)
