Quite simply Kiffin just plain outcoached Kelly. Kiffin knew our weakest spot was the inexperienced offensive line and designed his defensive game plan to exploit that weakness.

I'll bet the LSU coaching staff spent less that 15 minutes all week preparing for a 3-man rush all of the game. Kiffin used the 3-man rush almost from the opening kickoff. This combined with 8 in pass coverage left no place for Nuss (The Gunslinger) to successfully throw.

Even after the half no halftime adjustments were made. Simply put, the better coach won.

Currently LSU Offense is an opposing D coordinators dream to prep for. Cakewalk.
