It's all bout bragging rights and if some can't brag, then someone, coach, player, team, will have to pay a price.
No doubt there is wayyyyyyyyyyy too much emotional investment going on, but that's life in the sports world as it is now.
The telling thing is, no matter the level of success some are given by the coaches, players, and teams....it's never enough.
