Bat Bros did a review with marucci bat against the others. Marucci came in last place.

That's because the Moochie bat was old. You need a new bat after about 6 months of use/practice.

Moochie's are the best, but, you need to replace them after 3 to 6 months of practice/game use.

Then that’s the opposite of how it used to be.

The 09 LSU team had an “illegal” legal bat in a sense with the Easton Orange Stealth because out of the box it passed BESR regulations but after it was broken in it was HOT HOT. We won the natty with 2 year old Eastons lol. Loved seeing that bat.

As someone who played in that era, that was one of the best videos I've ever seen. Brought back memories.

This video is appointment viewing. Covers how bats "break in" and focusses largely on the 08-09 LSU teams. LSU talk starts around the 12:30 mark.

Also, of course Corbin was the coach who bitched about the bats and ultimately was they were banned,
