First 10 rows on TV should lose their season tickets. Bunch of fatty fats sitting with their arms crossed and some douche with a phone holster on his belt on TV behind the cut away to the announcers. Pathetic. No I was not their but I had season tickets long enough to have the right to bitch.
Those are the guys with the dough that pay the bills

Part of it may have been playing Kentucky too early in the SEC schedule.
People that have been giving away their season tickets finally went to their first game and they were waiting to have the Tigers prove something to them...when they have already proved it with their play this year.
The players honestly deserved more hype tonight.

If TV was any indication, our fans were shite compared to DeafDome Prime.
Well no shite, we've only been garbage for 10 straight seasons.

I went to the game with my brother. I have season tickets in the middle level and this was obviously the big home game of the season. When LSU would score a basket my brother would stand and clap and sit down 2-3 seconds later. LSU made a 3 at one point so we both stand, high five, and sit back down. At this point the older gentlemen behind me grabs my brother and tells him he doesn’t need to stand after every play. Of course they argue, got somewhat heated, and it just took the excitement level way down for myself personally. People like this guy ruin it for anyone that’s looking to have a good time at an exciting game.

If you’re not allowed to stand and cheer at a game, where are you allowed to stand and cheer?
I hate people who bitch about people standing at games.

Old pathetic white dudes....? Yo man, that's racist! ??

Wrong. Bball tix are cheap. That is old money BR. They have had them for 40 years. If LSU would price them according to location and not subsidize the blue bloods we could have a bigger budget and get fans who are really excited to be there in the seats.

Piss poor effort by fans all around. Not even close to the atmosphere we had last time we played Kentucky at home.

At least our basketball fans stay until the end. Not a bad crowd at all last night.
Beats every football crowd we have had in 2017.

I agree, from what I could tell on TV our crowd needed more juice last 5 minutes. I was there in the Dale days, so I have a high standard.

So you weren't at the game.
I was. I'll give you my honest assessment. I was a student in the glory days (late 70s/early 80s). I'm also familiar with the attendance woes over the past few years. So, I'm not going to judge the present situation by the standards of the late 70s/early 80s.
My take: overall, the production value was good. The band played some, there was some piped in music, videos were good, halftime show was good. It appears to me that the arena is lighter and the upper section no longer appears to be lit like a dungeon.
Crowd size - not a sellout, there were empty seats, but not many. Crowd noise - honestly, pre-game, not so hot ... there is some DJ guy that tries to drum up fan noise - he is OK. During the game, the crowd got loud at times. The student section deserves no criticism b/c it was relatively full and noisy. The folks on the sidelines - yeah, it's my perception they're senior citizens and no, they didn't really stand.
Could the crowd have been noisier? Probably. But, from my perspective and what I saw, huge improvement over the past few years. It did seem to me that the crowd was waiting to see how the team played, before getting all rowdy. The team played well for portions of the game; the crowd responded. The crowd however, to be honest, was not of a mindset to get rowdy at the get-go and inspire the team; they were waiting for the team to inspire them.
So overall, considering it was Jan. 3, I thought the crowd size and noise were good. In past years, the Kentucky game was at fever pitch in the Assembly Center. Can't say it was "fever pitch," but, it's a big step in the right direction.

When will TAF pull the plug on those Media Seats next to the student section!!!???????????? Every year that I renew my season tickets I ask the same question.....Prime seats for bunk arse media.

No, again I wasn’t at the game. You don’t need to be to say the fans suck. That is a stupid prerequisite.
And I’m glad you agree with me that the crowd was dogshit.

Every time the crowd tried to get into it, Kentucky would get an easy bucket. It would suck the enthusiasm out of the PMAC.
