Oklahoma City is not a bad place. The people are actually friendly and down to earth. There are some nice areas to live as well. It's just the sports talk radio sucks here. These guys have no idea what they are talking about especially when they try to talk about sports nationally. They are obsessed with Texas and they rationalize every thing OU does and the callers just whine and never give any other school or team any credit whatsoever.

It's not that I care that much. It just gets tiresome when you are up here and they can't give credit where credit is due. And still 6 years later complain about a game they were never really in and blame the venue for the loss. And it is more of a commentary of the bush league mentality and lack of any intellectual perspective that is based on real facts regarding the subjects they choose to talk about. And when they trash LSU and the fans of LSU, I take that personally because I'm one of them and have no problem sticking up for our team, our school, the state of Louisiana and our fans. If that bothers you, sorry.

U gotta be kidding me. Unbelievable. You need to call in and hit them with USC, Boise State, WVU & Kansas State in '03....fricking idiots.

I just think they live in a delusional state of mind because they are obviously in a conference that typically comes down to them vs Texas. And anyone else that beats them in conference is pretty much a major upset. And for years they went along thinking that would always carry to outside the conference against ranked teams. I think it has become apparent that some coaches know how to prepare a team with a long layoff for a major bowl and some coaches can't quite make the adjustment. So far it would appear that Les is one of the ones who knows how to get it done.
