First of all, my condolences to Coach Steve Ensminger. That is horrible.

Now my thoughts on the game...HOLY F*CK.

I've seen a lot of great offense over the years. From the 2004 USC team to the 2008 Florida team. Even some of the players OU has had with the Heisman winners and what not.

That LSU offense is the best offense I have ever seen. Not only do they have talent, the scheme is amazing. It was pretty clinical how they picked us a part and found are weakest link on defense with our backup each time. Well done.

As for LSU's defense, people had been trashing it but I think it's obvious this team would just get out to huge leads and screw off. They have two great players in the secondary, a great pass rusher, and Queen is a best.

This was more like a 50 point arse whippin' than anything. OU scored 2 TDs when it didn't matter so I don't even count that.

LSU could have scored over 80 in this game if they wanted.

As for all the trash talk, it was fun and I enjoyed it. I'm tired of these people that just want to hug it out. That isn't fun. Anyway, I don't even really consider what the LSU players said as "talking trash" either. THEY WERE JUST TELLING THE TRUTH.

I guarantee when they watched film they were like, this is probably the 4th or 5th best team we have played.

Anyway, this was a rebuilding year for OU. The fact they made the playoff says more about how much the Big 12 sucks than anything. We did the following"

- Got dominated by K-State. Their offense sucks and scored 49
- Beat Iowa St. by 1 point bc they missed a wide open TE.
- Trailed Baylor 28-3
- Barely beat a bad TCU team
- Beat Oklahoma State without their #1 Qb and #1 Wr
- Need overtime to beat Baylor's 3rd string QB

Baylor is the second best team in the Big 12....that's all you need to know.

I don't see anyway Clemson goes into the dome in NOLA and wins.

I was actually just in NOLA this last year. I was treated extremely well. Great food and people just kept serving up the drinks.

I could see the Super Dome from my room at the Hyatt.

You guys were not even bad to hang around this year. I don’t think you really thought you had much of a chance. I never saw any problems between Oklahoma and LSU fans at all, all night.

Maybe you guys realized we are not really the monsters Bama fans claim now.

We really don’t bite or anything. Lol

Not if we stay in the Big 12. We're not physical on the defensive side of the ball anymore. I hate the league. It's trash.

OU can just get by winning the league every year but we can't compete with the LSU, Clemson, Alabama's of the world.

It looks like men against boys watching our defense.

I was a student when we met in the 2004 Sugar Bowl. I had many friends goto the game including my roommate. No one said anything remotely close to the stuff I'm reading on the internet now 15 years later.

With that said, we were all in our early 20s so we kind of knew what we were getting into on Bourbon Street.

I think most of the complaints were from older people not used to such a "fun atmosphere".

I've honestly heard of and saw more fights and arrests at OU/Texas weekend then I ever hear about from the Sugar Bowl game.

You and Texas should just bite the bullet and join SEC. you already did once. (T Boone Pickens killed it)

Very classy post. I hope we get to square off against OU in the playoffs again next year. I enjoy easy victories.

Fun game for a Tiger fan. The stadium which was 75-25 was crazy. By start of 4th quarter it was 90-10.

It was great. I though the roof was going to blow off when the band was playing right before kickoff. It was hyped AF in there.
