That game in '07 was one of the best I have ever witnessed, just did not like that L. Hope this Saturday is even better, if possible. See y'all in Red Stick!

They must stave off 92,400 loud, colorfully verbal fans in the stadium nicknamed Death Valley after its deafening levels of noise.

Damn. That was a lot of OT's. I had forgotten about most of those.

While I agree that every team seems to have it's share of loudmouths and rude and/or inappropriate behavior, I have to say that LSU fans (generally, not applicable to everyone) are the worst. I still remember the day my freshman year at UF when they interrupted a mid term exam in one of my classes. An interruption that cost me an A.
I understand getting all riled up. I understand trash talk. But to get physical (the bus episode), make threats or to interfere with the education of fellow students crosses the line. I have been to many games on both sides of the field and have never seen such idiocy as is produced by certain LSU fans.

Technically, there won't be 92K tigers in the stadium on Saturday. I don't know why people always take the number of seats a stadium holds and say they're all home fans.
Just sayin'.
Probably 82K vs. 10K, right?

Its funny, in the actual printed newspaper that article had a different title. Something along the lines of "Valley still Deadly" or something like that. I'll have to pull it out of the recycle bin. I do think it was a good article. Just wait though for idiot Mike Bianchi to write another article about how awfully overated the mystique of T.S. is. I know he hates seeing this other stuff printed in his paper.

quote:Well it seems you answered you're own question, didn't you? Do you really think that we feel we are going to 'surprise' UF with our gameday atmosphere? C'mon we know that our reputation is legendary and a given fact. The surprise we may be talking about is that we may actually be competitve and you will probably bang your head during the game thinking you should be blowing our awful team out. That will be an awesome feeling knowing what agongy and embarassment a fan like you will go thru should we pull that 'surprise'.
or is the surprise goin to be that your team is going to fix all of its resounding ? marks, like the shoddy pass blocking, pass protection, qb pressure, poor offensive production and suddenly play ubelievably inspired football and win the game
I'm anxiously awaiting this surprise

gators are in for a surprise?
like what? another loud away game like the one in 07' when our worst defensive and youngest team in recent memory came in and arguably outplayed your NC team
or possibly an opponent being extra pumped to play us? sure lsu is extra motivated after that arse raping last year... but sooo are 17 of the last 18 teams we have played..not to mention every team on our schedule this year

Holmes, we ain't Bama......we've been to the dance before and WON. That blatant smack cares very little juice around here. BTW, that "arse raping" was not quite as bad the score indicated. Your boys had some very good breaks including an LSU team that had no QB and an imploding defense.
You may not be concerned, but make no mistake UM is.
put that in your piece pipe and smoke it.
