The reason you collect data points is so that you can analyze the trends. What is the current trend of this program? (By the way, that's a rhetorical question

Getting further from winning the sec?

I'm sure youd like it to rhetorical but it's not.

So you think its probable that O wins the sec and wins a NC?

Well its pretty shocking that losing 7 games in 2 years and struggling on offense both years is being labeled as proof he was a good hire. That's just more proof that the goalposts have been moved for what is considered a successful season at lsu.

Instead, they double down on bashing O and refuse to acknowledge all of the positives in the program. I

Please let me in on the positives in the program now that werent here when Miles was fired.
-we are still losing to bama except now we arent even competitive
-we are still losing to multiple other inferior teams
-we are still struggling on offense

We are recruiting well but we did that under miles too.

It's not a good look, but then, most haven't ever been accused of intellect and objectivity

Its laughable that you mention objectivity after saying the same win loss numbers that got miles fired is proof O was a good hire.

Explain why for 32 of 36 year career was he never once offered a Coordinator's position.

So far I like the trend in the last 3 years. Let's see where this year's data puts us.

2016: 8-4

2017: 9-3
2018: 9-3

Of those, only the last 3 are relevant to the current team and coaching staff. Add to 2018 a better bowl with a win and a higher ending ranking and I would conclude that it's a positive trend.

How’s the offensive production trending based on observable data points?

Well if We averaged over 3 losses a year since the National Championship game.Maybe Les’s teams were underperforming. If Les would have won the games we were favored in he would still be the coach.Got that Lunchbox.Th Saban reference is goofy.

You got me there. I'm at least somewhat normal. I'm not still looking for reasons why the tigers aren't moving in the right direction. I can clearly see that they're in good hands moving forward.

“ I can clearly see that they’re in good hands”

10-3, 5-3, 3rd in the west, 4th, 5th or whatever in the SEC, and 2 yrs of offenses in the bottom 1/2 of the SEC “clearly” tells you all is right in the LSU football world, huh??

Nice for you, but 63-10 vs Bama the last 3 yrs and L’s to less talented Flor and A&M last yr tells me we have a ways to go before I start applauding any hands we might be in, but each to our own.

I'm not looking backwards to get my opinion. I'm looking at the moves they're making moving forward. You evaluate looking backwards and I'll continue to look to the future and the moves that they're making in that direction.

Anything that can be skewed negatively against O must be ignored at all costs.

miles would still be the coach if losing 4 and 3 games while having a shite offense is consider,"in good hands".

how has O completely won you over when we have never been close to beating bama or winning a title of any kind?

“ you evaluate looking backwards”

Well, since it’s May, the future of LSU football is still a number of months away. I don’t know how you evaluate a programs on-field performance without looking backwards at this point in time. Certainly, after a few games of 2019 we will no longer have to talk about 2018.

2019 may very well prove to be a great season but as it stands now the 2017 and 2018 season is all we have to go on.coaches are hired and fired based on what they HAVE done. not what someone thinks they will do.

Our coach is the only one that's evaluated primarily by things that haven't happened yet. He certainly does have a talent for selling dreams, doesn't he?
