“ we are going to be strong on the offensive line”
While I understand that doesn’t jive with the narrative some have laid out during/postseason it’s pretty normal for both coaches and players to speak glowingly in the preseason
I stopped putting much faith in what coaches put out to the public, no matter the coach, a long time ago.

theyve created this imaginary world where lsu fans dont want lsu to win because of who the coach is.
in their imaginary world, if youre unhappy with losing 3 and 4 games a year, youll be unhappy with 11 wins.

That's the whole point. Some in here were trying to say that O wasn't putting a positive spin on the offense before last season.

I thought 10 and 3 was pretty good especially since they did it without much of an offensive line. Not to mention short in other areas that they weren't used to.

It is good.
But let's just admit that we got rid of good and replaced it with good. That's all I'm saying. Let's just admit that we didn't actually upgrade at HC, and that we're happy with what we have. The healthy thing to do for all of us is to just be content with good.

We expect coaches to do that. That’s why the, let’s wait to see, group is so large. Coach O told us that he had learned his lesson in regard to meddling with his coordinators only to see him do just that within five games of the 2017 season. He also told us that he was going to hire only the very Best of coordinators. I don’t think many people feel that description fits coach E.
Great seasons use to be saved for west championships and better, but now all you have to do is win 10 games. Go figure
