Do you honestly think that citadel is a better school than LSU?

How did reach that conclusion? And no I do not.

Then why bring it up. Once again like Troy somebody brings up something that's irrelevant.

They had a better gameplan than we did.

Maybe the coach needs to go to Citadel this offseason and pick up pointers like he did with the Saints last year.

I'm perplexed as to why you think talent and experience was the primary reason for that loss

Who else beat Bama?

when several lesser teams had better performances vs Bama than we did.

You're making that transitive mistake again.

LSU was the only game in which Alabamas starters played the third quarter. Only one team fared better than LSU vs Bama in the regular season and that was MSU who only lost by 24.

As usual, our failure was the lack of any semblance of a running game which was the Achilles all season.

So yes, I have reason to believe we will do better next season. We gave better RBs and a more experienced QB who did pass for 180 vs Bama.

It was in response to the poster above me who mentioned lesser teams had beater success with playing Bama than we did.

Citadel scored 17 on Bama and of course lost, 50-17.

We get smoked 29-0.

Great company to be in.

They faced a less than motivated team

Was their defensive plan better? Held Bama to 10 points at halftime

Look at the other thread about the quote by Saban. Why doesn't saban quote things like that about other schools?

Saban views LSU as a threat. As a result he can't let LSU up off the mat. LSU is recruiting on a phenomenal level right now.

Why don't you volunteer to do it. You're so knowledgeable I'm sure that the coaches would welcome you aboard.

No kidding. Like I said, it’s been our biggest regular season game for years. We have yet to even have the lead, let alone win it.

Why do you think that is?

Maybe he should give Aranda pointers too. Citadel defense held them to ten points at the half

According to his logic

For the past three years under O, LSU has just been tapping out.

Is it honestly that big of a deal how much LSU scored as opposed to how much another team scored. It counts for shite. It doesn't matter a loss is a loss. Would I rather it be respectable? Absolutely but I've never spent one day comparing it to other schools losses against bama because it's irrelevant.

It's a loss.

Yes because if you don't score you have 0% chance to win the game.
