Why is this so exclusive? It's not like it's been hidden info.

I saw this thing in a display case at the Nike Store @ Caesars Palace in Las Vegas at the end of July.

I've got a picture of it on my phone.

Oregons had the MATTE black helmet for 3 years now so those aren't new. The only thing different about these is the kevlar, gloves and graphite color.

It looks pretty much like all of Oregon's other awful jerseys they wear.

I like Oregon in green and yellow, and NOT that dreadful highlighter yellow.

I don't get how so many people find those uniforms attractive but I guess I'm in the minority in thinking that their traditional green and yellow color scheme looks far better than all this tampering they do week to week.

I agree, as a longtime Oregon fan I miss the green/yellow standard jersey. Occasionally Oregon breaks out "throwbacks" that are similar to the 1997 home uniforms...I like them more than anything else Oregon wears these days.

I like the old ones too kerrrrttt but the new ones are awesome. I heard theres a rumor for the next throwback they are going to put the joey harrington era design on the procombat material

I like the regular green helmets with the Oregon O in yellow.

I can see swapping that out and going with a yellow helmet with a green O to add more diversity to the uni but I'm certainly not a fan of the grey and black. White looks good too IMO.

As for the jerseys it just irks me when teams start wearing colors outside of their color scheme. Several people on here have advocated for LSU to wear black jerseys. I think I'd kill myself if we ever did.

And when it comes to jersey design, simpler usually looks sharper to me. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised at how good LSU's pro combat jerseys looked in '09.

those are sick. only improvement would be getting rid of the fairy wings.

Not many Oregon fnas like the wings. When they first designed the Unis a few years ago they didn't have wings on them. While still in testing the fabric used for the jerseys is so thin that they shoulder's kept ripping so they started putting the wings on there to keep them from shredding.

I completely agree Marvcus, I'm a bit of a traditionalist. The difference is that prior to the late 80s Oregon didn't have much of a tradition, it's been a long haul to get out of the duldrums of being an also-ran, there was a time Oregon was so bad there was talk of kicking them out of the conference.

It is difficult to imagine drastic uniform changes at traditional powers like Penn State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, Texas, etc.
But at a place like Oregon where the tradition IS to be innovative and 21st century, there is not much tradition to trample upon so it's alright to be progressive. What history is there to protect? All those decades when Oregon won 2-3 games a year?

Yeah I hear you on the Oregon fanbase not being as militant as the LSU base regarding maintaining tradition in the jerseys. Hell, it took me a long time to come around to the idea of LSU wearing all white unis, even for one game, until I saw a few farks like my avatar that won me over. But the design of the jersey is still identical just with a predominate white scheme. Personally, I would like to see LSU wear the purple tops more often.

But as for my opinion on the Oregon jerseys, I'm looking at it purely from my personal opinion of the aesthetics. I just don't really like the complex color schemes and designs incorporating black and grey. Just like with Arkansas' new jerseys, I think they should have stuck with what they wore around '07 and prior. And I HATE that highlighter yellow. I don't really like the font on the numbers either to be honest.

I think Oregon circa 2002 had good looking unis.

Man, those do look pretty good.
Kinda wish we were wearing our pro combats the same game. Kinda like Boise v Va tech last year and Boise vs Georgia this year.
