Fish Farmer if you haven't read or watch the video by one of our fans and a great writer. He has studied our offense alot and eplained very easy. [link=(www.fishduck.com)]LINK[/link]

They thing is yeah we let you know what we are running, but it has outs built into it. We don't run crazy, well too crazy of formations. Yes your defense has to be responsible and not over react....if they do then it will be a long day for LSU. But I hope you enjoy the link and helps you understand what you are watching on the 3rd and understand that it is not a Gimmick Offense like so many uninformed LSU fans have stated on this site.

I don't Oregon use both backs at the same time for an extended period of time. It is important to keep RBs fresh and playing them both at the same time wouldn't do that.

They;ll being playing 5 (6 if they use Huff like last year) RBs according to Kelly. All of them as good or better then the 5 star that just transferred to Baylor.

I'm more worry that Les is not making the scout team wear gay green uniforms.

From what I've seen gays tend to like purple and gold more.

Changing Uni's is just a distraction tactic.
I think the NCAA should make them pick only 12 per season.

How does it distract???? Crazy that a college would have many options and let the players pick what they want to wear.

From what I've been hearing, I think that we will incorporate more Two-back sets with LMJ and who ever lines up in the TZR (a slot second running back hybrid) if only to get Barner and other playmakers on the field. Also expect to see a two tight end set with Paulson and our True Frosh Lyerla due to some recently lost depth at the position.

From what I am reading from this board, your tigers are running some form of a 4-2-5 with linebackers on the small side. So I expect to see more inside Zone reads with your ends being read. With a younger O-line I feel that Chip will call for quick zone reads and short screens.

When your defense inevitably reacts by cheating up for the screens and IZRs, Chip will take a few downfield shots or try something tricky (We don't call him Big Balls Chip for Nothing)

Link failed... I did watch it the other day though... As the old saying goes, sometimes you have to coach yours better than they coach theirs... One thing for certain, the game will be next Saturday. Ya'll have a very good program and have enjoyed reading ya'll's posts. We all think our teams are going to win.. I'm definitely concerned though... LSU really hasn't blown a good team out since 2007, and I don't expect it this game either.. Our offense isn't explosive unlike the Ducks.. We must keep it a low scoring game to win.

Agreed on that cause if it's low scoring game it definetly is in LSU's favor. I am concerned to and it will be a great game for both programs. This site is great once you get passed all the chest thumping and worrying about all the drama and what if scenarios.

From Football Weekly. Looks like a few teams ran over LSU

7) Oregon throttles LSU

The Ducks struggled against Auburn in the National Championship last year. Fact. Oregon will struggle against a defense of similar caliber in LSU. Fiction. In the national title, Oregon's quarterback, Darron Thomas, threw for a season high of 40 attempts. Why? Because head coach Chip Kelly realized that Auburn struggled against the pass. It did lead to the Ducks losing, but that can be blamed on one thing; Oregon is not a pass based offense. What does this have to do with LSU? The Tigers finished 42nd against the run last season. Oregon was 4th in rushing last fall behind three teams who only know how to run (Nevada, Air Force, Georgia Tech). In other words, Oregon is going to run the ball until the clock hits zero. Thomas is going to mature as a quarterback and make smarter reads. LaMichael James will be dangerous as always and a fast paced offense should keep LSU off beat, despite facing an inexperienced offensive line. Jordan Jefferson of LSU could be the most overrated player in the nation. LSU's offense will struggle to put up points like Auburn did and Oregon's fast paced offense will not fail. In the hands of mature quarterback, Darron Thomas, the Ducks' offense will roll.

Oregon: 43
LSU: 24

Chip ran the ace set under center 40% of the time in the spring game. So, I expect the offense to be different.
