Who were they?
Zero did not recruit to team needs. He recruited the highest rated players that had interest in an effort to make himself look like a good recruiter.
A good recruiter can identify talented kids that are not highly rated by recruiting services that can be developed.
A good recruiter also pays at least some attention to the character of the players being recruited. I suspect you have to have character in order to identify it in a recruit...

frick off with this straw man bullshite. O and his staff didn’t address a glaring need for an SEC-level starting Center for two cycles and the program paid the price for it.
It doesn’t matter that he didn’t “miss” on one. It’s the height of insanity that he didn’t even have a good recruit or transfer on the board to sell starting at Center in 2021.

Yea I can’t blame him either. If you’re drafted in the first 2 days it’s usually a pretty sound decision. Could’ve potentially played himself up a round or so this year but that also comes with risk. I do think that any Day 3 pick and UDFA guy should come back though
