Most of us thought they’d be better than last year, and 3 straight losses in home openers is a buzzkill

He admitted 2 HUGE problems.
1. This team isn't what I thought it was. How? You are supposedly in the elite group of the elites. Hell, I could make that underestimation.
2. He didn't prepare the team adequately. What? No shite! Anyone care to guess how that excuse would fly in my career? I would be reminded, "But that's exactly what we pay you to do."
We do not have to chill and embrace this kind of failure. A loss can happen. That's not what logical people are upset about.

Maybe the majority of us refuse to accept mediocrity? It’s actually a positive trait. We’re sorry some of you are content to be average in life. You probably endorse participation trophies?
