1961 - watched Fred Southerland pitch a no-hitter. That was a really fine Tiger baseball team - won the SEC.

Roy Winston.

As I mentioned above, that was a really great team, but didn't participate in the post season, thus didn't have a chance to go to the CWS. The BoS was afraid the Tigers might have to play a team with African Americans in the line up so they nixed any post season play.
