In the late 80s/early 90s, wasn’t there a piano organ in the old stadium?

There indeed was a man at the Box playing with his organ.

The early to mid 90’s was magic in the old Box. I was a kid and it was like being in the coolest place on earth to a kid obsessed with baseball

Same here. I can remeber getting checked out of school early to go to nidweek games with my dad.

Going to Skip Bertman summer camps every summer and getting to actually play in the outfield of the box when I was a little kid was about the coolest thing a liitle could have gotten.

I remember scheduling vacation during the May regionals at the old Box. I was single and in my early 20’s. I would sit down the left field grandstands and watch all the games. Got sunburned even with a T-Shirt on. Went to Eckerd Drugs and bought Aloe Vera Gel to rub on my neck and upper back. Fun times eating burgers and drinking diet cokes.

Was in law school and I would walk over sometimes and watch an afternoon game. Me and about 30 other people.

Some great memories in that old park.
