1) Ohio State fans also left in droves at half time.
2) OSU also played an unranked team from Louisiana.
3) OSU also played a lot of 2nd and third teamer's in 2nd half.
4) OSU also sucked in the 2nd half (scored 7 points in the second half.)
Welcome to 2018 - people don't sit in sold-out stadiums any more when the 2nd and 3rd teams are playing.

Probably because of block eaux. They were supporting LSU, so might as well act like them

Yep. Went out and got drunk and got laid instead of watching a game that was OVER at halftime.

Doesn't make it right...in the past people would always stay through the 3rd quarter even when it was a blow out.Only in the last quarter would you contemplate leaving early

Every fan base will leave in a blowout. LSU fans like to leave close games because LSU is playing bad.

OSU's starting QB completed almost 90% of his 24 passes for over 300 yards and 5 TDs, in the first half alone! OSU was sitting pretty at 42-6. Burrow also played decent enough up until the sack before the half, and LSU was up 24-7. Then in less than 6 minutes of the 3rd , LSU was only up 24-14. LSU had no chance to put in backups on offense because the offense is still mediocre at best. The defense gave up a lot to the quick passing game, and couldn't get any pressure.
After this you would think the light should come on to Ensminger and realize that if your OL is outmatched, maybe you should go to a quick passing game.

I say downgrade students section, and allow more paying fans. When the average joe buys tickets for his family, better chance to stay for the whole game.
However this is more and more common for all sports.

This is not the tiger stadium of old, if an average joe would like to go to the game there are plenty of tickets to be had

The average joe won’t be buying those tickets. It’ll be some corporation who doesn’t care if the tickets get used or not.
