Officials/Refs at practice

I know this may have been discussed, but I didnt see a thread on it. Orgeron and co have mentioned that there have been refs at the practices. They have been throwing flags during scrimmages and then go over what was wrong afterwards.
There doesnt seem to be an improvement in the reduction of penalties through games 1-3
My question is: Is bringing refs to practices hindering/confusing our players than just doing live reps w/o them?

Yes, if they are not calling the plays to the same standard. Would these practice refs have called Chark for holding or the pick on Sullivan?
