Posting the same thing over and over again for everyone to read over and over again isn't ignorance, it's pathetic.

Great news. What type of line was he going against and what type of defense was on the field with him at the time?
2nd and 3rd team. Ego has one of the best bursts of our DTs. Destroyed Gore on a draw play and had 2 or 3 sacks. He will get playing time this year and could develop into a very solid player.

What are we talking about with Beckham specifically? What are his strengths?
I watched his highlight tape, and he seemed to be the smoothest athlete in the country. I just want to know what exactly is making everyone rave about Beckham.

I'm confused. Since when did PD swing out to LT and Faulk move to the inside??

Getting open.
On a day where literally no one got open against our first team defense, he was able to get open every play he got reps. His reps were against 2nd and 3rd stringers but he was the one WR who was always open.

JJ's deep ball looks better, but his accuracy still sucks on it.
Anyone see how pissed miles got at Reid for hitting JJ?

He was open all day and has great hands. You are dead on with how smooth he is. Looks like he is a Junior not and 18 year old. He dropped one deep post that probably would have been a 35 yard gain. Will be on the field a lot.
James Wright also made a couple really nice catches.

That was hilarious. Can't fault Reid for that because Jefferson lowered the shoulder and ran into him.

What can we expect from Paul Turner? Is he more of a specialist receiver ala Skyler Green?

JJ actually initiated the hit.
Good competiveness by both guys IMO.

Too bad your hero Les won't let the competition play out and play the best QB. Biggest pet wins as always
Jefferson gives us the best chance to win because of his legs. Had a few good runs when plays broke down. When it was ones on ones no one was open. Our DBs played lock down D. Little concern with Simon. Got beat a few times but no QB could a good throw besides the long Shep TD. Mett needs a year to learn the playbook but he has so much potential.
You can now go back to playing with yourself.

He looks good. Nice burst and good vision on kick return. He will be a nice slot receiver but doubt he plays much at all this year. Too much depth above him.

Sheppard
Beckham
Wright
Boone
Landry
I was extremely impressed with Beckham.

In your opinion, is Ware an elite SEC back? Also, what were your impressions of Terrance Magee?

Lamar Louis was in attendance. He is about 6' and is built very well. Looks like he will fill in for Baker in a couple years.

So, we have had two or three posts saying that Jefferson threw the pick-6. And we have had two or three posts saying it was Mettenberger.
Can someone please clarify???

Even Reid knows the only way Lee or Mett play is if Jefferson gets hurt

Rueben got kicked in the balls and had to go to the sidelines for a good while. Wouldn't let the female trainers look at him. I thought that was kinda funny.
He came back on the field a little later on. All is well, just can't have any kids

Love how we put that label on him because of one fricking play.
