IM not aJJ hater by any means. It was frustrating for everybody there.Mett only got about 1/5 of the reps the other two did. JL cleary the 2 and looked comfortable I figure he only threw a few incomplete pass out of 12 atts. Both BEckom and TUrner looked good. Landry didn't dress. RR looked like a pro,big fast and smooth.

LBS Francios,MInter,Backer,HAtcher had some big hits with the 2s

Nah you're good I was just being bitter about his apparent performance.

Was Tyrann out there and who had the pick 6?

WR: (again, I'll just list them all under one position)
R. Randle
R. Shep
J. Wright
K. Boone*
O. Beckham Jr. & Jarvis Landry & Paul Turner
Williams*
Fobbs*
*=potentially already beat out by our incoming freshman. We'll see come September.
I'm very glad our freshman are doing good but doesn't it worry anyone that Boone and williams are getting passed up by freshman. I was expecting boone to easily take the 3rd or 4th spot by now

36 had the pick 6 against mett. Temper your expectations. It's gonna be a long year. 9-3 at best.

IT was either Martin or Collins on the pick six,I think.Hard to see from ground level and we were all laughing...........better than crying.I guess.

Derrick Bryant had the pick 6

Did I read something wrong or is that a conflicting report? Did JJ or Mett throw the pick 6?

La'El Collins is part of the 3 man personal protector on punts. Mathieu and Brooks are the gunners.

Sounds like we may be in for another 'defensive' year. More close games, more nail biters. May take another year for the offense to finally come alive.

Miles said all the quarterbacks threw the ball well but did not release any specific numbers. He said senior starter Jordan Jefferson "threw it for 150" yards and probably was "10 for 15." He said Lee had "probably 160" yards passing and "15 for 20, or thereabouts. Mettenberger had a decent day throwing the ball, also," Miles said

Les also mentioned a long td to RS from JJ. No mention of the pick 6
Posted on 8/13/11 at 3:10 pm to SCLSUMuddogs
Why would he mention the pick 6?
Posted on 8/13/11 at 3:11 pm to Tiger_n_ATL
I'm hoping that this is just because we may be the best defense we see all year.
Oh please oh please oh please.

So...can anyone clarify?

How can you mistake Mett for JJ on the pic 6?
Posted on 8/13/11 at 3:19 pm to martiallaw
Mett threw the pick 6. Derrick Bryant returned it.
Davenport couldn't block Rasco. Rasco is unbelievably talented.
